AWHT – Colour Blog Hop: Crumb Cakei

Colour Blog Hop

Crumb Cake

I love Crumb Cake – it is my go to Neutral colour, when I don’t want a stark white. It’s so versatile, it goes with any colour, but it’s also great as the focus colour.

When I was working on my cards for this month’s class I wanted to do a Masculine card in honour of Father’s Day. We haven’t used the Lift Me Up stamps and the Up & Away thinlits dies for awhile, so this card was made:

Cardstock: Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry
Ink: Sahara Sand and Memento Black
Stamps: Lift Me Up and Itty Bitty Greetings
Tools: Up & Away Thinlits
Adhesives: Tombow glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals

In the class I bought along my card scraps so everyone could choose their balloon colours. It was amazing how different all the cards looked with our choices of colour palettes against the Crumb Cake!

  1. That is lovely. I really love the colours you’ve used on the balloon and the crumb cake balloons stamped in the background.
