AWHT: Colour Challenge Blog Hop – PINK!

AWHT: Colour Challenge Blog Hop- Think Pink!

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring the colour pink. We hope our blog hop inspires you to get creative with the various shades of pink that Stampin’ Up! offer in our collection of 53 different colours available.

I made two pink cards for this month’s blog hop. The first uses my favourite stamp set Hand Delivered.

For this card I have used Flirty Flamingo cardstock and Melon Mambo ink. The little flower image is from the Make a Difference stamp set. I also coloured in the skirt with Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo water colour pencils.

My second card for this hop uses a combination of the Beautiful You and Varied Vases stamp sets.

I wanted to give a different look to the flowers so I used the stamps that colour the Beautiful You girls. I stamped this image 3 times to make the background.

The three pinks I have used for the background stamping is Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo. I didn’t add a sentiment in this one, which is unusual for me, but I thought I could use it for any occasion and it gave a clean look to the card.

Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the very talented Tina Gillespie

  1. I love both of your cards Andrea. Hand delivered is one of my favourite stamp sets too and I love the way you coloured your card. I really like that you used the stamp from Beautiful you for your second card it is a fantastic card.
